How to be a Renaissance Man? (Ben Hammersley at reboot8)

I was happy to give a keynote at reboot8 - renaissance? last week. It was an excellent gathering with many provocative talks (e.g. anti-mega) and much on the social side of technology.

Ben Hammersley was a superbly funny after-dinner speaker. The question: How to be a renaissance man? Ben broke it down into four tasty pieces and two words for dessert, with historical examples from his home town of Florence:

1. Steal from the best
2. Never say no
3. Indulge
4. Complexity is good

And over the next days, weeks, months: Say Yes!
